         "What can I say aboout my tattoo, but just that I LOVE IT!! My love for tattoo started @ a early age 'cause of the influences in my family and what better way to express myself through art on my body. Since I'm artistically challenge, I needed someone to see what and how I wanted my tattoo to look like as a finished product. I admit that I'm a picky and somewhat impatient person. I was not a easy person to work with when it came with pain. My tattoo took 2 steps with each about 3-4 hrs each time. Velle, being a dedicated artist and a very patient person did not allow me to get to her. Knowing this, I had to BITE my tongue and tried to forget my pain. I knew she was the right person to this tattoo. She spent endless hours making sure that I loved the drawings on paper before it became my masterpiece. This was one of the reason I trusted her and knew that I can rest assure that she will make my Koi Fish stand out from the rest. It was far better than the original drawing that I had and adding a bit of personal touches here and there - She made my dreams come true!!
I can guarantee you that she will do her best and spent sleepless hours making sure your masterpiece comes through each time. I've seen it.
On a personal note, Velle, you are the best and will always be my tattoo artist for LIFE!! I cannot wait for you to do my next piece."

          "The first time I met Velle was at a mutual friends house she was talking about opening her shop and trying to get some clients in to get large custom pieces I talked with Velle and her husband Joel for about 20 minutes and within that time decided A, that she was one of the coolest people I had ever met and B. that i trusted her completely to do a large piece and gave her full creative control of my floral half sleeve. She is an incredible talented and creative person who came up with an absolutely beautiful custom piece for me. When I got to the shop for my first session I was pretty nervous (I got a tattoo when I was 18 at a shop in town and the whole experience was a nightmare) Velle and Joel made me feel very comfortable in their shop and the cleanliness was outstanding! By the end of the first session I was looking forward to coming back to see her again I would recommend her 100% her work is incredible, the enviroment she has created is very comfortable and welcoming and she is an incredibly talented artist.           "I have known Velle for many years. I have always known she was a great artist because that is what she started out as. She does gorgeous drawings and paintings, everything from portraits, fantasy pieces, to whatever her twisted but creative mind can imagine. When I heard that she was getting started in tattooing I thought it was the best job for her in which she can still be so creative but her art would be displayed on skin instead of canvas. She started out in Alberta and I really wanted to get my first tattoo from her, but unfortunately I couldn't afford to get there. So I decided to get a tattoo from a different tattoo place here in Thunder Bay. Let's just say I had a bad experience with my first tattoo. It ended up looking like a big blob in the end. Then Velle and husband Joel decided to move back here to Thunder Bay. I showed her my tattoo and right away she said " #&*% Why didn't you wait for me?!!." She told me she would try and fix it so I put aside my first bad tattoo experience and decided to trust her to fix it. OMG!!! She made it look a hundred times better that I could imagine. Velle is so great because she actually listens to what you want and she takes your ideas and makes them into a tattoo that not only you but she will be proud of. She is a perfectionist and will not be done until she's satisfied with the result. Velle is a very honest and straight forward person. If you bring her a drawing for a tattoo that looks like crap she'll tell you but she'll add her own twist on it to make it look unbelievable. Velle is a true artist who believes in her artistic abilities to create beautiful and amazing artwork. She has done two tattoos on me and one cover up so far. She's my tattoo artist for life and I can't wait to get more from her."

          "I had my first tattoo done on July 28/09. I wasn't going to get one done because I did not trust anyone and I was very scared....And then I met Velle and her husband Joel who was tattooing a friend of mine...They made me feel so at home and answered any of my questions..So..I decided that I was now ready to get one done myself...I booked my appointment and waited with excitement..Then the day of I was nervous..but Velle reassured me that everything would be fine and that if i needed to take a break we could..I watched her set up...everything is so clean and professional there...and then we started...I anticipated that it was going to be painful But...for the most part it wasn't...I have to honestly say I felt relaxed...as if I were at a family members house..Velle is an amazing artist...She is very precise on how things are done and has flawless work...The care and perfection that she put into my tattoo will bring me back for more knowing that I recieved quality care and a quality product...Everyone who has seen my tattoo has loved it and can't believe how great the work is...it looks so clean and real!!...I would like to Thank Velle and Joel for a pleasant first experience I would NOT have gone anywhere else..
